The problem

Where they started

Brodie is on every job and Kayla runs the quotes and admin, so the website has to do the first part of the sale on its own: show the work, and make it easy to ask for a price.

The first site did the basics. As the business grew from driveways into pool surrounds, patios and full backyard renovations, it needed to show that range and get better quote requests.

What we did

The build

We redesigned it around their own job photos, with a gallery that filters by driveways, patios, pool surrounds, landscaping and commercial work, and a drag-the-line before and after of a dealership frontage.

The quote form takes photos of the area, so Kayla can start on a price before Brodie measures up, and a short “what happens when you call” section sets expectations in four steps.

The SEO

Getting found

For a local trade most enquiries come through Google Maps, so we put the work into the Google Business Profile: the services and the 20 areas May Paving works in.

On the site, the service and area wording matches what people search for across Gawler, the Barossa and Adelaide.

What’s slipped, and what we no longer claim: We used to say May Paving was on page one for “paving gawler”. Search Console still averages it at 5.0, but a live search from Gawler shows Google’s business panel and Facebook rather than the website, so we now only claim the Google Maps result.
