Winery & cellar door websites in the Barossa.

We design winery websites that take cellar door bookings, sell wine online and keep your Google listing current, from a digital agency in Nuriootpa.

What a winery site needs

Built around how people find, visit and buy from a cellar door.

Cellar door bookings & tastings

Tastings, seated flights and group visits, booked through the system you already use or a simple booking request that lands in your inbox.

An online wine shop

Usually on Shopify: single bottles, mixed dozens and cases, member pricing, and shipping priced by carton size.

Age confirmation & licence details

An over-18 confirmation before the shop opens, your liquor licence number where buyers can see it, and clear delivery terms.

Wine club & subscriptions

Club releases every few months, member-only pricing and members who can update their own details and delivery address.

Events

Long lunches, release days and festival weekends, each with its own page and a ticket or booking link.

Trade & wholesale enquiries

A trade page for restaurants, bottle shops and distributors, with a short enquiry form and your price list on request.

Tourism listings

Your details kept the same everywhere visitors plan a trip, including your ATDW listing, which feeds state tourism sites.

Google Business Profile

Cellar door hours, tasting fees, a booking link and fresh photos, so the map result answers the question before people drive out.

Multi-brand storefronts

Several labels under one roof, each with its own collection, plus browsing by varietal across them all.

Wine work we’ve built

A ten-brand wine store and a wine tour operator.

Each card names the platform and only the parts we built.

What we did

  • One storefront for ten Barossa wine brands and So Gin, each brand with its own collection
  • Browse by varietal across every brand: shiraz, grenache, whites, sparkling and more
  • An age confirmation before the store opens
  • Live Aramex shipping rates at checkout, priced by carton size, with signature on delivery
  • Klaviyo email and SMS sign-up with a welcome email

No sales figures published: store revenue is the owner’s to share.

  • A full rebuild of their old site (the before and after is on the project page)
  • Pages for private, small-group, gin and from-Adelaide tours
  • Book Now buttons that go straight to each tour in their Bookeo booking system, plus gift vouchers
  • Gallery, FAQs, and reviews linked to Google and Tripadvisor

Verified result

Enquiries came in fast enough that they briefly switched off online enquiries to catch up.

Selling wine online

The details a wine shop has to get right.

Age & licence

An over-18 confirmation before the shop opens, your liquor licence number in the footer and near the checkout, and delivery terms that say an adult signs for it. In South Australia, liquor licensing sits with Consumer and Business Services (CBS).

Shipping by the carton

Rates priced on real carton weights (a six-pack costs more to send than two bottles), signature on delivery, and delivery zones set to match your courier’s liquor policy and any remote-area restrictions.

Vintages & stock

Each wine set up so a new vintage replaces the old one cleanly, sold-out wines say so, and tasting notes and awards sit with the wine they belong to.

General information, not legal advice. Your liquor licence conditions, CBS and your own adviser are the final word on what your licence requires.

How it works

From the first tasting to a site that takes bookings.

01

Talk it through

A call or a visit to the cellar door. What you sell, how people book, who runs the wine club, and what your licence allows.

02

Plan the site

Pages, shop and booking flow mapped out, with the platform chosen on fit: Shopify for a real online shop, a fast custom site for a cellar door that takes bookings.

03

Build & load

Design, wines and vintages loaded, shipping and age confirmation set up, your Google Business Profile tidied, all checked on phones first.

04

Launch & look after

We connect your domain and go live, then a care plan covers hosting, updates and new releases from there.
