Auggies Kitchen: online ordering the owners run themselves.
Emmy and Myleena’s family kitchen in the Barossa makes ready-made meals and sweet treats for home delivery. We built their website and the ordering system behind it.

Where they started.
Auggies cooks in batches for set delivery days, and the popular days fill up. Customers needed to order and pay online, see straight away which days were still open, and have somewhere to go when the day they wanted was full.
The owners also needed to run it themselves: change the menu each week, close a day or mark it fully booked, and pause orders, without waiting on us.
The build.
Online ordering with Square
Customers pick a meal bundle, fill it with this week’s meals, choose delivery and pay by card through Square. The kitchen gets the order by email and the customer gets a confirmation.
A delivery-day picker
The order page shows the next three weeks of delivery days. Fully booked and closed days still show, so customers know why, but they can’t be picked, and orders close at 3 pm the day before.
A waitlist for fully booked days
Tap a fully booked day to join the waitlist. The kitchen gets the request by email, the customer gets an email confirming they’re on it, and nothing is booked or charged until a spot opens.
Their own click-to-edit admin
Emmy and Myleena click any text or photo on their site to change it, add and reorder the week’s meals, pause meals or treats, and set each delivery day to open, fully booked or closed.
Delivery zones
Two zones, the Barossa Valley and outside the Barossa (Gawler and the northern suburbs), each with its own delivery fee. Prices are checked on the server before payment, so they can’t be changed in the browser.
