The people behind it
Meet Sam
Sam runs A1 Roofing & Property Maintenance on his own out of Redwood Park: roof restorations, leaks, full roof and gutter replacements and more.
He is on the tools all day, so the marketing had to work without him sitting at a computer.
No website at all.
No domain name and no Facebook page either, and his Google listing was not set up properly.
The problem
A one-man roofing business, starting from nothing online.
- No website and no domain name.
- No Facebook page, and his Google listing was not set up properly (a stray duplicate with the wrong hours).
- Sam is on the tools all day, so the marketing had to work without him sitting at a computer.
The solution
A fast, photo-led site, his own brand, and his Google profile sorted.
Bought a1roofingadelaide.com.au and built a fast, photo-led site with every roofing service, the suburbs he works in and a free-quote form that takes photos.

What we did for A1 Roofing
Brand & design
Built a brand page around his own roof-mark logo (colours, type and tone) and made the image the site shows when it is shared.
Google & local SEO
Sorted his Google Business Profile: the roofing category, his services, real opening hours and the right service area. Added suburb pages and roofing guides for the searches people make.
Social & content
Posted his work to local Facebook community groups, wrote him up on our news page with his own drone shot, and added Google posts to his profile.
Leads & care
Every quote request lands in his inbox as a branded email with the photos attached, spam filtered out first, and the customer gets a confirmation straight away.

Behind the numbers
The quote requests came from Redwood Park, Greenwith, Highbury, Clearview, Parkside, Woodcroft and Seaford Rise: roof restorations, leaks, a full roof and gutter replacement and more. Click-through rate went from 6.8% to 3.9% as the site started showing for many more searches.
What’s next
The plan from here. Nothing below is counted as a result yet.
- Google Ads: a small, tightly targeted campaign around Redwood Park and the north-east suburbs, so Sam shows up at the top when a roof starts leaking.
- A Facebook page in his brand, with before-and-after posts from real jobs.
- More Google reviews and job photos, the two things that move a roofer up Google Maps.
Figures from our own reporting: genuine website enquiries counted one by one (spam, tests and sales pitches removed), each client’s own Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and our Google Maps checks. Windows are shown with each number.
The work
The work the website is there to win.
