Pack the magic, collect the kit, take all the credit.
Team Teepee makes kids’ sleepover parties easy with DIY teepee hire from Keyneton in the Barossa Valley. Here is how the business works, and the website we built to get families from browsing to booking.
Team Teepee began in 2017 with one trial sleepover party in Keyneton, about ten minutes from Angaston in the Barossa Valley, and a simple idea: Barossa kids shouldn’t need an Adelaide operator for an unforgettable sleepover. Today Team Teepee, DIY teepee sleepover party hire in the Barossa Valley, is run by Jess, and it has grown into complete themed kits that families across the Barossa and the Adelaide Hills collect, style at home and return after the party.

The clever bit is the DIY
Team Teepee is a DIY hire business, and that is what makes it work. You pick a theme and a date, collect the kit from Keyneton, and set everything up yourself with a step-by-step photo guide. It keeps the cost down without cutting the magic, and the kids love helping.
Each kit really does include the lot: the teepee itself (1.3 metres tall and 1.16 metres wide), a foam mattress with protector and fitted sheet, a luxury blanket, breakfast tray, lantern, themed cushions, a decorative floor rug, battery-operated fairy lights and a light box sign or pin board. Bedding goes out freshly laundered, and every piece is checked and cleaned between parties. Families who only need a few pieces can hire mattresses, blankets, lanterns, tray tables or cushions separately.

Eight themes, one very happy lounge room
The teepee party themes are where the business really shines. Boho is the most loved, with dried blooms, dusty rose and rattan. Wild Nights brings jungle greens and log cushions, World of Wizardry turns the lounge room into a castle common room, and there is Tribal Dreams, Tropicana, Sleepy Sloths, Barbie and a creeper-approved Minecraft setup as well. Themes can be mixed, matched and customised to whatever a child is into right now.

That care has been noticed. Team Teepee is a finalist in the 2026 Barossa Event Industry Awards, in the Best Children’s Themed Event / Venue category.
What we built
Our job was to make the DIY idea instantly clear, because it is the thing families most need to understand before they book. The site walks through how DIY teepee hire works in three steps, lists exactly what is in every kit, and answers practical questions like how much floor space each teepee needs and what car will fit the kit. A gallery of real party setups shows what other Barossa families have done, and service-area pages cover towns from Angaston and Nuriootpa to Eden Valley, Mount Pleasant and Springton.
Everything leads to one button: Check Your Date. The enquiry form asks for the party date, number of teepees, suburb and favourite theme, then Jess confirms availability and a full quote. No payment is taken at that stage, which makes it an easy first step for a busy parent planning a birthday.

As Melanie put it after a Boho sleepover party: “Ruby LOVED her Boho set up over the weekend. So much fun for a tween party. Thank you Team Teepee.” If there is a birthday coming up in the Barossa or Adelaide Hills, check your date with Team Teepee early, because weekends and school holidays go fast. You can see more of the build on our Team Teepee portfolio page.
