Looking after your website, out in the open.
We’ve introduced three monthly care plans for the websites we look after. Here’s what’s in each one, what they cost, and why we’ve made the change.
Over the past year the work behind a JB Digital Barossa website has grown well past hosting. Enquiry forms send branded emails, confirm with the customer and screen out spam. Sites are built and kept readable for Google and for AI search tools like ChatGPT and Gemini (GEO and AEO). We look after Google Business Profiles, the listing that puts you on Google Maps. Clients get reports and their own client portal for invoices, documents and support requests. Most of it happens in the background, and that is how it should be: a seamless experience where your website keeps working for you without you having to chase anything.
Until now all of that sat under one small hosting fee that hadn’t kept up with the work. So we’ve set out three clear plans.
The three plans
Standard, $40 a month. Everything a live site needs, looked after: fast hosting with SSL, security settings and full version backups, branded enquiry emails with customer confirmations, spam screening and a never-lose-a-lead failsafe, warm leads, the client portal, a monthly report covering enquiries, Google search and visitors, Search Console and indexing, the local SEO, AI-search and Google Business Profile basics kept in place, and small content updates.
Growth, $70 a month, and the one we recommend. For businesses that want more enquiries: everything in Standard, plus Google Business Profile upkeep (services, posts and photos), ongoing on-page and local SEO work, AI-search tune-ups and keyword tracking.
SEO Pro, $95 a month. Deeper, ongoing SEO for competitive markets: everything in Growth, plus more keyword targets tracked monthly, new content and FAQ answers each month, a competitor watch, a review-growth plan and priority response.
We recommend Growth for most local businesses. It’s the plan that keeps working on getting you found, not just keeping the lights on. The full details are on our pricing page.
Why prices have gone up
We’ll be straight about it. Demand for our work has grown a lot this year, and so have the costs of running it: hosting, email delivery, the tools behind reports and tracking, and the hours that go into looking after each site properly. The old hosting fee no longer covered that, and we’d rather charge a fair price and keep doing the job well than cut corners.
If you’re already a client
We’re emailing every client directly with what changes for them and when, with notice before anything new is billed. Annual plans stay as they are until renewal. If you’re in a free hosting period, that still runs as agreed. And if you’re already on a higher plan, it stays as it is.
This is new, so if you have questions or would rather talk it through, get in touch. We’re always happy to chat.
