The Barossa, one small group at a time.

Barossa Wine Tours is a small, personal touring operation run by Kirsty, a local guide with more than ten years in the Barossa Valley. Here’s how her days out work, and the site we rebuilt for her.

Barossa Wine Tours is not a big-bus operation, and it has never tried to be. It is Kirsty, a Barossa Valley local with more than ten years guiding personalised winery tours, and a luxury eight-passenger vehicle kept deliberately small. You can find her at Barossa Wine Tours, private and small-group wine tours in the Barossa Valley.

The cellar doors most visitors drive past

Kirsty’s days out are built around small, family-owned wineries and boutique cellar doors, and around introductions to the winemakers behind them. Guests are picked up door to door from anywhere in the Barossa, including Tanunda, Nuriootpa, Angaston, Lyndoch, Seppeltsfield and Marananga. The pace is relaxed, and the itinerary bends to the group, whether that means four hidden gems or a long lunch out in the vines.

There are four ways to go. A private Barossa wine tour runs to your own schedule, with you choosing the wineries or Kirsty recommending them. The shared full-day tour visits at least four boutique wineries and includes a regional platter lunch. The Barossa Gin Tour mixes winery visits with gin distillery tastings, and a full-day tour from Adelaide picks guests up in the city. Gift vouchers are available for any of them.

The local industry has noticed too. Barossa Wine Tours is a finalist for Best Tour Operator in the Barossa Event Industry Awards 2026.

From a tired site to a proper shopfront

When Kirsty came to us, her old website no longer matched the experience she gives her guests. We rebuilt it from the ground up: tours and pricing laid out clearly, a gallery of days on tour, answers to the questions people ask most, and simple ways to book, whether that’s online in a couple of clicks or a quick call or text to Kirsty. Each tour now has its own page, so someone searching for a private tour or a day trip from Adelaide lands on exactly what they were looking for. Guest reviews sit on the homepage in the guests’ own words, with a link through to Tripadvisor for anyone who wants a second opinion, and the whole site nudges people toward a quick chat with Kirsty, because every tour is shaped around the group.

A good problem to have

In August, the enquiries ran far enough ahead of the calendar that Kirsty briefly switched off her online enquiry forms to catch up, which we wrote about in Barossa Wine Tours had to pause new bookings. Her own review of our work put it simply: “The new website JB designed for my business has increased client traffic.”

If you’re planning a day in the Barossa, call or text Kirsty on 0417 799 887, or book any tour online. You can see the full before-and-after in our portfolio. Run a tour, cellar door or stay in the valley? See our web design for Barossa Valley businesses.
